*News & Notes following the Chi-Town Rumble:
+ It was announced at the beginning of the show that this year’s WrestleMania will be BSW’s last year using that event name. Starting in 2021, the biggest premier PPV event for BSW will now be held at the end of every March, dubbed The Best In The Midwest. The 1st Annual event will coincide with the promotion’s 20th anniversary.
+ There was no shortage of surprises and/or returns at this years Chi-Town Rumble. We saw the debut of 8 new superstars and 3 returning legends including; C.M. Punk, Kazuchika Okada, and Ron “The Truth” Killings. C.M. Punk became the first superstar ever to Win the Annual Rumble event Twice! (Punk last won it in 2014)
+ The debuting Hijo del Fantasma & Juventud Guerrera along with Pentagon Jr laid a vicious beat down on “el Jefe” J*Stump before tossing him out of the Rumble. They yelled to him that the he and the Aces and Eights time is over! The self proclaimed leader of this new faction claims their time as the dominate group has come to an end.
Once backstage, el Jefe went to confront his club mates about why they didn’t help him but only Chase Owens was in the locker room. He said he was sorry and that he went to go look for Adam Page but he was nowhere to be found. It looks like there might be some real dissension brewing here.
+ The Most Eliminations was by Jack Jeckel with 7 before being eliminated by Okada. Darwin Bastantes followed next with 5, and J*Stump and Hijo del Fantasma each had 4.
